The ladli beti of Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, is gradually climbing the steps of success, with her style, talent and attitude…. Although the tall beauty is only few movies old and has a long way to go, Sonam has surpassed other reigning queens in the list of ‘Maxim Hot 100’.

Sonam reported to have bagged the No. 1 slot in the poll conducted by Maxim magazine, racing ahead of Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and last year’s winner Bipasha Basu. The cover page of latest issue of the magazine is graced by Sonam, and an event was held recently to unveil the copy.

On being crowned as the hottest girl, Sonam said to sources, “It’s really important to me. I like the words ‘hot’ and ‘sexy.’ It’s fun and at the same time, speaks about your sensuality, passion and depth.”

The list of ‘Maxim Hot 100’ also included both actresses and models, among which were Anushka Sharma (at No. 24 position), Amrita Rao (No. 32), Jacqueline Fernandez (No. 35),newbie Trisha Krishnan (No. 93), Lisa Haydon (No. 48), Esha Gupta (No. 55) and Maybelline famed model Diana Penty (No. 76).

The list mostly said to include girls who have inspired men with their hotness and stood the test of swinging appreciation and mindsets, revealed Vivek Pareek, the editor of Maxim magazine.
